A thousand words for wikipedia

Sex and nutrition are two very important things in a person’s life, but most people think they have nothing to do with each other.  The truth is that they go hand in hand with each other.  People do not understand that if you do not have a healthy diet or healthy functions, there are more chances of having a very low libido.  For men there will be a higher chance of erectile dysfunction.  According to nutritional therapist and health journalist, Martin Hum, the way to amazing sex is food.  Being able to give the body what it needs in a healthy way will benefit you and your partner.  He say’s “Sexual activity is a complex interaction of mental, emotional and physical factors.  Foods can affect the brain (often called our most important sex organ)” http://www.ion.ac.uk.
If you feed your body (or brain) unhealthy foods or you do not take care of your body, your brain will no longer produce as much Dopamine, which is the neurotransmitter, produced by the brain that is the “pleasure” center.  Men and women will not be able to perform to their highest ability, just like in anything else, if your blood vessels and organs aren’t healthy.  Oxygen has to be able to reach your sex organs in a perfect flowing manner or else there will be dysfunctions or other health issues.
One of the most common, but less recognized symptoms of being unhealthy is becoming less sexually active or not “feeling sexy”.  When you do not feel confident or think you look less than amazing, you don’t want anybody else to see you.  Being healthy and keeping an eye on your nutrition is not a bad thing.  Having a healthy and steady nutrition is just as important as breathing oxygen.  Nutrition has been a big thing in our world since 400 B.C.  The “father of medicine”, Hippocrates, said “let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food,” he continued by saying, “A wise man should consider that health is the greatest of human blessings” (www.nutritionbreakthroughs.com).
Ever since the early ages of human society, certain foods has been named aphrodisiacs, which most of the foods that have are the ones with the correct vitamins and nutrition to help boost your libido.  It started with the story of Adam and Eve where they ate the “Forbidden fruit,” which there are different stories to what the forbidden fruit really was but all the ideas were something that in today’s world would be nutritious and healthy for a person’s libido.

BACKGROUND/HISTORY OF SEX:

Sex is something that is hardwired into us as humans.  Humans seek out sexual relationships all the time.  It is in our nature to do so; it is a form of release and expression.  Sexual intercourse has been around for thousands of years and there is no way of being able to do studies to show how arousal and different dysfunctions worked back than, but we can tell now that your libido has everything to do with the way you treat your body.
Sexual intercourse is a way of being intimate with your partner.  It is also known as coitus, copulation and coition which in Latin means; “a coming together or joining together” (www.dictionary.com).  There are many different forms and ways of having sexual intercourse; there is vaginal intercourse, anal sex, oral sex, and fingering.  All of these stimulate the nervous system, which allows people to get aroused.

VARIATIONS OF SEX:

The first and most common sexual stimulation would be vaginal intercourse.  It is when the penis, is inserted into a women’s vagina. This also allows the women to have stimulation from the clitoris.  This allows the female to have double stimulation, inside and outside the vagina.
Oral sex is another common variation.  There are variations to oral sex as well; to perform oral sex is to be using the mouth using one’s mouth, tongue, throat and possibly teeth. There are three different variations of oral sex, which are called “giving head”, “cunnilingus” and “anilingus.” Another person on a male penis performs GIVING HEAD.  This is when either a male or female with use their mouth, tongue and throat to pleasure the male.  Another person on a female vagina performs CUNNILINGUS.  This is the use of one’s tongue and mouth to simulate women’s vagina and clitoris.  Another person on either a male or female’s anus performs ANILINGUS.  This is the use of one’s tongue to stimulate the anus of another person, because the nerves being so sensitive around the anus, it is easy to stimulate with licking and touching.
It is still a common way of having sex but it is not as popular, ANAL SEX.  Anal sex is when the penis penetrates someone’s anus.  Anal sex is also a form of FOREPLAY to some people, just a way to spice of the bedroom or stimulate a person in a different way.  Someone can also be using a FINGER to stimulate the anus or a SEX TOY.

BACKGROUND/HISTORY OF NUTRITION:

Nutrition has been around for centuries; it was first dated back to the Book of Daniel in the Bible.  The next time is recorded was when the Greeks were experimenting with foods and health.  The true father of nutrition is French scientist, Antoine Lavoisier.  In the late 1700’s Antoine put weight measures into chemistry and made a calorimeter.  After that nutrition just kept being explored and evolving from nothing into something that is a need to know basis in out lives, (http://www.ansc.purdue.edu).

SIX PARTS OF NUTRITION:

Nutrition is made up of 6 different parts; which include, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, and water.  Each part is an important part of the nutrition circle; each part is important to the body just as the next.
PROTEIN is the part that helps the body build muscle and helps the metabolism move faster.  CARBOHYDRATES and FATS are good for the body but only certain fats and carbohydrates.  There are other fats, for example--candy and bacon that are bad for the body and can cause health problems if too much are consumed.  VITAMINS are the best for the body but just like anything else, too much of something can be bad.  Some VITAMINS that are important to help with libido and sex hormones are; VITAMIN A is essential to produce male and female sex hormones, VITAMIN B have two ways of helping the body by producing hormones that evokes sex hormones and stops production of PROLACTIN which is a hormone that diminishes the sex drive.  FOLIC ACID, VITAMIN E and MANGANESE are three vitamins that help protect and produce sex hormones.  ZINC is a vitamin used mostly for men only it helps produce testosterone (www.drinkyourvitamins.com).

CONCLUSION:

Sex and nutrition have been around for centuries and people have always put two and two together.  People feel better and feel sexier when they take care of their bodies, inside and out.  Nutrition and the way you take care of your body is a huge part of how your sex drive will be.  If you feed your body crappy foods, you will feel like crap and your sex drive will be lower than most because you will not feel one hundred percent.  This is the reason why you cannot have one without the other.  Sex is also a form of working out.  You are working certain muscles in certain positions.  Everything always comes full circle, sex and nutrition are two things that come full circle together, and you will always have sex and nutrition together.
